Rest In Peace
I always thought David Brenner was funny...although a lot of his comedy would be considered politically incorrect today. He brought laughter into the world for many years. May he rest in peace.

Dave was an early favorite of mine. I was twelve when he hit the Tonight Show for the first time. Easy to see his influence on someone like Jerry Seinfeld.
I was always surprised that Dave wasn't picked to succeed Johnny on the Tonight Show. I liked Jay Leno but at the time he was selected I thought Dave was the funniest comedian out there.
