I've always wondered why the tree always ended on the ground. I didn't know our felines were taught the maneuver to drive us crazy.
Over the years, we've had cats climb the tree, knock off the ornaments, and chew on the lights. One year, we invested in a chemical repel spray that was supposed to keep them away from the tree. Our cat sat under it lapping the runoff from the branches. The only way we defeated them was by investing in a tree that hangs on the wall...(sigh)
They are cute though.
